Primrose Play Group

Just as a first bud signifies the birth of a new life, the same way our playgroup signifies the first step to education in our school. Primrose means the first flower that blooms in spring. These flower need a cold winter to encourage new buds to grow in spring. These species are cultivated for their attractive five-petalled flower that may be red, pink, purple, blue white or yellow. These flowers need a lot of care and attention. Hence "Primrose" is the first stepping-stone in a child´s development process. Our Playgroup offers: Toy library: The playground has been devised keeping in mind the safety of the children. The toys chosen are non-toxic and they enable the children to release their emotions. There are various toys like balls, dolls, kitchen set, hammering sets, puzzles etc. Activities: We have devised various activities on a variety of materials to drive in various concepts home. There are activities, which enhance reading writing and arithmetic skills. These activities also teach them how to control emotions and vent them too. They help them in an overall development. Activities are executed according to the child´s mood and need. It is a value-based programmed which goes a long way. Music and dance: Music provides an excellent medium to enhance the serenity in children, whereas dance helps physical development. Festivals: India has wide range of festivals and these are celebrated with a lot of fervour in our school. We either dramatize plays or have a small conversation on the same with the help of pictures. Puppet shows: Puppet shows have proved to be of great help to forge an understanding in communicating concept, values, mannerisms and toilet training.
