"QUOTE"
¡®I shall be telling this with a sigh,
Somewhere ages and ages hence;
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I ...
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.¡¯
- Robert Frost

The Neem, the Acacia and the Silk Cotton Tree, once had a conversation among themselves. The Acacia moaned about how ugly, it was with its thorny spikes and hitter leaves. It felt it was ugly, bore no flowers and was worthless. According to it, the Neem tree was so fortunate, its fruit was loved by birds and human beings, it had healing properties, it was invaluable to creation.

The Neem tree was wise and tried to make it realize its self worth - it told the sad Acacia, that it was so useful to sparrows,
who built their nests in its branches. The thorns it disliked actually protected them, its leaves were their food, camels relished
its juice, it was truly great. But it was hard to convince the Acacia.

The Silk Cotton Tree, felt even worse than the Acacia ¡ª its appearance was so unattractive with its dark branches.
Its flowers bloomed momentarily, the summer breezes blowing away the silky blooms.
At least, the Acacia was home to the weaklings. The silk cotton had no right to live, it was useless.
Again the Neem tree reminded it of its good qualifies, - ¡®You are an artist¡¯s inspiration and a child¡¯s delight,
your bare arms raised to the sky are a prayer and an invocation to the Almighty.¡¯

Mother Earth, who was hearing this conversation, spoke to them and said ¡ª ¡®Each one of you is invaluable to me and
an integral part of the great creation. Each one beautifies the world in its own way.
Be yourself and play your part in the best possible way.¡®

It is our endeavour to make each student of Thakur Public School a happy, well developed individual.
One who is comfortable in his own skin, who accepts himself as he is. This is the most important thing today
as blind imitation of one¡¯s peers often leads to
disastrous results. So many youngsters suffer from low self esteem even though they have all the priceless gifts ¡ª supportive family, understanding parents and a comfortable living. At all times parents should ensure that their child is happy in whatever choices he makes. They must ensure he believes they will protect him and support him in his choices, they will not pressurize him.

I firmly believe in the power of the Almighty ¡ª He has sent us into this world with a purpose, he will see to it that we fulfill our purpose. We must strive and toil in the right direction, keeping our petty egos aside.
Happiness is more important than material things.
